February 16, 2026

On 16 February 2026, the Motion Picture Association (MPA), in collaboration with the FICCI Media and Entertainment Division, will host “Rewarding our Creative Future in the Age of AI” in New Delhi. As an official satellite event of the AI Impact Summit 2026, the session examines how the intersection of Artificial Intelligence and the creative sector can be shaped responsibly to strengthen India’s creative economy through innovation, trust, and talent.

The program features MPA Chairman and CEO Charles Rivkin and includes a headline fireside chat, “Merging Cultural Heritage with Frontier Technology” with Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw, Union Minister for Information & Broadcasting, Electronics & Information Technology, and Railways. This dialogue explores the essential balance required to safeguard creators while unlocking India’s potential in the age of AI.

The event further includes a plenary session, “Where Content Meets Code: Reimagining Storytelling,” which addresses the fundamental redefinition of the craft as technology and creativity converge. The panel explores how AI, immersive technologies, and data-driven platforms are reshaping the way stories are conceived, produced, distributed, and experienced globally.
